Coverage of signal - remote regionn
Grenar, David ; Křepelka, Václav (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
Because the Czech Republic has been specific geographically rugged terrain. We could find a many places without a voice and data coverage. This place with worst signal coverage have sometime only the GSM technology, but this technology does not have high quality for calling inside building. The operators which are owner of GSM networks they don't care about how to make better coverage. The investment is more expensive than the profit of service. In 2012 was prepared auction of frequency for new LTE technology. In one of point was written that operators must start with building the networks at place with worst signal coverage, but in 2013 this point is missing. In thesis we will basically from our theoretical technological experience trying found out a solution of coverage in remote region. Our solution trying found out a best way between economic a technological transmission demand, between metallic, optical and wireless transmission medium. Next part is interest about compare properties, technical parameter and economics of building a type of network. Final step is building a real network distribution in chosen region.
Emerging systems of collection in waste management
Petrasová, Zuzana ; Kropáč, Jiří (referee) ; Gregor, Jiří (advisor)
The main aim of the thesis is a description of the methods used in the collection of waste with a focus on non-traditional ways. Its part is the outline of a basic technical specification of the methods. The analysis is further used to determine the technical-economic model for underground waste containers, which is able to calculate the construction costs based on given values. The model is designed for containers of three different volumes and is the main result of the thesis. The knowledge of input investments is being used to compare the economic demand and the potential return of investments with regards to the traditional collecting methods (bins, containers) and the pneumatic underground system, whose estimated costs are taken from foreign models.
Mathematical models in strategic decision-making
Khýr, Lukáš ; Popela, Pavel (referee) ; Pavlas, Martin (advisor)
This master thesis deals with various mathematical models, which can be used for designing the location of collection points for various fractions of municipal waste with consideration of walking distance, economic demands and utilization of allocated capacities. Scripts for generating input datasets for applied models from basic input data, which are address points with population and GPS coordinates, is also included in the thesis. The model was implemented in GAMS and the script was written in VBA in Microsoft Excel. Model was used in case study. Results of single and multi-criteria approaches are analyzed and compared.
Realizace rekreačního objektu z bambusu
Zralý, Pavel
Master thesis is elaborated on the theme Realization of recreational facility of bamboo and it is focused on using alternative material construction of garden and recreational facility on the small ground dimensions intended solely for summer use. The work is based on the knowledge gained in the formation of the bachelor thesis. The theoretical part focuses primarily on supplement the information concerning the foundations, walls, floors and construction openings and their restorations. The practical part is elaborated Drawing documentation of bamboo garden house. Furthermore is created a detailed statement of material, which is used as input data for calculating the economic cost of the project. Overall results are compared with an equivalent wooden house of spruce and prefabricated garden house.

Once again this work is describing causes, sympthoms a treatment of each form of equine colic. The thesis is also focusing on general context, such as description of the digestive tract of horses, and how digesting works. Finally this work is describing technologies of feeding and water supplying, because problems with this are often related with the causes of equine colic. In the thesis is also mentioned costs of treatment of equine colic. The theoretical part is summed up in few general advices for owners. The thesis concludes a description of economical demands of specific business, in this case Statek Doubravka.
